First Impressions Team

• Greeters
• Welcome, inform and serve those who attend our services.
• Parking Team
• Welcome people to our parking lot in a safe and organized fassion.
• Usher Team
• Open to men and women this team helps to keep order during services, ministry times, assists in service flow, receiving offerings, seating people, etc.

Guest Services

• Connection Center
• Oversee first-time guest services, including the friendly distribution of gift bags to first-time guests, as well as receiving Connection Cards for submission to our follow-up team.
• Higher Grounds Cafe'
• Provide coffee and purchasable food items to attendees of Metro Harvest’s church services and special events.Provide coffee and purchasable food items to attendees of Metro Harvest’s church services and special events.
• The Source Bookstore
• Create and distribute media resources, which promote the principles and values of Scripture, on Sundays after the service, as well as at special services. 

 Kidz on the Move Children’s Ministry

• Ark Nursery (ages 0-3)
• Caregivers and teachers nurture the infants and toddlers of Metro in a stimulating, yet peaceful setting.
• Kingdom Kidz (ages 4-5)
• Preschool-aged children receive special attention in this dynamic group. Teachers and helpers create a unique experience for these children.
• Harvest Kidz (ages 6-12)
• Leaders and helpers create an interactive environment that seeks to teach and reinforce Bible knowledge, while building relationships in an engaging way.  There are many ways to get involved in this ministry including worship, teaching, drama, puppets, and media. 

Worship Arts Department

• Music Ministry
• Singers and musicians make up our powerful worship team, which ministers at a variety of different services and events, leading the congregation into the presence of the Lord through song.
• Production Booth
• This all-important team is made up of sound techs, lighting operators and lyric technicians. Training is available for any person interested.
• Flag & Dance
• A beautiful, unique opportunity for those who have an interest in worshipping the Lord through dance. This team is comprised of men and women from all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels.
• Performing Arts
• Consists of artists who are gifted in written or performance drama, stage designor construction, prophetic painting/drawing, etc. We want to communicate the messages of God’s Word in every effective way possible.
• Communication Media
• This team is responsible for the production of the weekly bulletin, video announcements, e-mail shout-outs, our website content, Facebook page updates, and other means of multi-media.

Unveiled Women’s Ministries

• Care Teams / Meals that Heal
• Provides loving, healing environments for women-- whether single, married, or single again-- and their families. Practical ministries such as hospitality, community service, and acts of kindness are covered by care teams. Meals that Heal prepares meals for new moms, the hospitalized, and others in need.
• Mentoring
• Through the Grow Groups of Metro, we encourage women to teach the Word to others who desire to learn what the Bible reveals regarding godly living and community in all of life’s stages and various experiences.
• Special Events
• This area of service brings women together in fellowship, faith, and friendship through a variety of events and gatherings.  Areas such as planning, hosting, decorating, and food preparation are necessary for the success of these events.

Other Ministry Opportunities

• Awaken Student Ministries
• Each Wednesday night, Awaken SM meets for a time of worship, prayer, and relevant teaching.  Volunteers are needed in several areas with varying time commitments.  These areas include worship band, small groups, media, and special events.  If you have a heart for young people, our student ministry is a great place for you to get involved
• Celebrate Recovery
• Lead by Christians who have been through a Christ-centered 12-step recovery and have a heart to lead others into experiencing freedom. Ministry opportunity exists in areas such as food preparation, serving, worship, leading groups, step-studies, etc.
• Prayer
• Through worship teams, prayer leading, administration, prophetic ministry, healing rooms, and flag & dance, you can participate in this vital, life-giving ministry.
• Events Team
• For the person who enjoys planning or executing events, this ministry services special events such as conferences, concerts, and leadership intensives hosted at Metro Harvest.
• Hospitality Team
• Our Loaves & Fishes ministry is for people who enjoy cooking and serving meals. This team hosts a monthly “New Friends Luncheon” for those that have attended Metro for four weeks or less.
• Servant-Evangelism Team
• Plans and executes outreaches and evangelistic events.  This is for the person who enjoys reaching out to people in practical ways that demonstrate the love of Christ.
• Maintenance Team
• Oversees cleaning, building repairs, lighting installation, outdoor grounds keeping, and many other maintenance needs.
• Security Team
• Ensures the safety and security of every person on the Metro property at any given time. This area is for you if you enjoy being behind the scenes and have or are willing to be trained in emergency response management.
• Communion Team
• Prepares communion elements for a monthly observance of the Lord’s Supper here at Metro.
