Our services begin with upbeat, contemporary praise and worship music with a diversity of style. We encourage everyone to participate - don't worry, we didn't know the songs at first either. 

You'll notice that we devote a lot of time to worship. Worship isn't just a filler before the sermon...it's the reason we come together! It's a powerful and personal way to connect our hearts with God. You'll also notice a lot of variety in the way people participate in worship: some sit, some stand, others raise their hands. How you respond to God in worship is up to you; all we ask is that you go after God with all your heart and give Him your very best.

Our children's services run the entire length of our 10:00 a.m. service, and are staffed with adults and high school students who are commited to teaching and ministering to children. You can be confident that your child is well cared for and having a great time learing about God as you worship.

The preaching and teaching of the Word is another key element of what we consider successful ministry here at Metro. You'll always take away practical insights for daily living as Pastor Mike and his team of gifted pastors and teachers present the Bible in relevant, interesting, and understandable ways. Whether it's on a Sunday morning, our Mid-Week Wednesday night service, or a guest speaker during our special conferences, we're confident you'll be inspired and not only grow in your understanding of the Bible, but in your relationship with Jesus Christ and other people as well.
