The
Men of
Harvest vision is to train up men
into disciples and leaders.
“Iron
sharpens iron,” and we know that when men get together, something
explosive is released in the spiritual world. In July of 2002, the
men's network was birthed to develop men into servant leaders.
Weekly small groups, quarterly men's outreach services, MEN OF HARVEST Encounter weekends, School of
Leaders, and weekly mentoring through the principle of twelve
help men to develop their full leadership potential. Men want to be
connected in vital, life-giving relationships, and being part of the
Men's Network at Metro accomplishes that.

OF HARVEST GOALS:_
1).
To teach men how to be godly leaders, husbands, and fathers in
a world that is desperate for genuine leadership-
Weekly lessons in our men's small groups
have focused on topics such as prayer, holiness, finances,
temptation, and integrity. Men's lives have been changed and
restored while vision and purpose are being instilled.
2). To prepare men to be disciples and leaders in order to
influence their world-
Men-only Encounter Weekends are held
regularly throughout the year. The goal of the weekend is to see
men set free from bondages and addictions in order to begin living
lives of victory in Christ. Weekly classes after the Encounter
include the Post-Encounter and School of Leaders. The
Post-Encounter classes teach the men how to live in victory on a
daily basis through the power of the Holy Spirit, while the School
of Leaders prepares them for leadership both in the marketplace
and in the local church through the cell ministry.
3). To prepare men for cell leadership through the School of
Leaders and the principle of twelve-
The School of Leaders is thirty weeks in
length and is the place where the men of Metro Harvest learn the
principles of cell ministry as well as the nuts and bolts of how
to open their own groups of twelve. Incorporating dynamic
teaching, the School of Leaders is presented in a format that
enables the potential cell leader to not only learn the principles
of the cell church, but also to capture spirit of the vision: the
church's mission to win, consolidate, disciple, and send.
