Our Statements

Our Purpose - Why We Exist...

"To exhibit kingdom values through a lifestyle of community that will be lived out through a biblically-balanced, Spirit-empowered, cell-based church using the Principle of 12.

Our Vision - What We Intend To Do...

"To win souls and make disciples"

Our Goal Statement -
Where We Intend to Be

By God's grace, we will be a church, which:

1). Expresses the heart of the Principle of 12 vision to:

"...equip God's people to do His work and build up the church, the body of Christ."                  -Ephesians 4:12

With this goal in mind, everyone - men, women, youth, and children can become influential believers.

2). Will have an integrated process of ministry, which will accurately model our vision, values, and structure through a blend of evangelical and charismatic strengths. We will maintain a biblical balance, avoiding the extremes of both.

3). Will consistently encounter Christ in His:

  • indwelling presence

  • edifying power

  • ministering purpose both in the cell environment (cell groups in homes and in the  marketplace) and the Sunday corporate worship and ministry (large public gathering)   - Acts 5:42.

  •  4). Will do our part to fulfill the Great Commission and join with others in reaching the nations of this city, and the nations of the earth for Christ.

    Our Faith Statement -
    What We Believe

-THE SCRIPTURES.  The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God.  It was brought forth through men of old who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.  We accept the completed canon of Scripture as our guide in matters pertaining to conduct and doctrine (2Timothy 3:16; Psalm 19:7-1 1; 1Thessalonians 2:13; 2Peter 1:21).

-THE GODHEAD.  There is One God, eternally manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  These three are co-eternal, co-existent, and co-equal (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 48:16; Matthew 3:16,17; Philippians 2:6; Acts 5:3,4; John 15:26).

-JESUS CHRIST.  He is the Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a vicarious atoning death on the cross, was buried, arose from the dead, and ascended to the Father (John 1:1; 1John 1:14; Philippians 2:5-11; Acts 3:13-15).

-MAN, HIS FALL AND REDEMPTION.  Man is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world.  Man's only hope, and God's only provision for redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  This is a judicial atonement, which is complete, effectual, and available to all.  (Romans 3:23-26; Romans 5:12; Galatians 3:13,14; Isaiah 53:11).

-NEW BIRTH AND ETERNAL LIFE.  Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  By the working of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (John 3:3-5; 2Corinthians 5:17; 1John 5:11-13).

-BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.  The baptism in the Holy Spirit is the infilling of the Spirit as promised by the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.  All believers have the Holy Spirit living in them (Romans 8:9; 1Corinthians 6:19; John 3:6), however, there is an added dimension of power and fullness with the baptism in the Holy Spirit.  The baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to empower the Church to preach the gospel throughout the whole earth (Joel 2:28,29; Matt. 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5; 2:1-4,17,38,39; 8:14-17; 10:38,44-47; 11:15-17; 19:1-6).

-SANCTIFICATION.  The Bible teaches that without holiness no man can see the Lord.  We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing throughout our entire lives. (Hebrews 12:14; 1Thessalonians 5:23; 2Peter 3:18; 2Corinthians 3:18; Philippians 3:12-14; 1Corinthians 1:30).

-DIVINE HEALING.  Healing is for the physical, mental, and emotional ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the redemptive atoning work of Jesus Christ. Healing is received through various means, including the working of miracles, the prayer of faith, the laying on of hands, the anointing of oil, as well as God’s providence through medical resources. The full balance of God’s love flows towards us whether through natural, medical, or miracle means. (Mark 16:18; James 5:14-20; 1Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Isaiah 53:4-5).

-WATER BAPTISM.  Baptism in water is by immersion, is a direct commandment of our Lord, and is for believers only.  The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:36-39).

-COMMUNION--THE LORD'S SUPPER.  We partake of the Lord's Supper to show the Lord's death till He comes and remember His complete provision for sin. (1Corinthians 11: 23-31 ). The bread is a remembrance of the Lord's broken body (Isaiah 53:5; 1Corinthians 11:24).  The cup is a remembrance of the new covenant in His blood.  We examine ourselves and ask for forgiveness of any sin prior to receiving it (1Corinthians 11:28-30; 1John 1:9).

-RESURRECTION OF THE JUST AND THE RETURN OF OUR LORD.  The angels said, "This same Jesus shall so come in like manner." When He comes, the scriptures tell us, "The dead in Christ shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air (Acts 1: 11; 1Thessalonians 4:16-17).  The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is imminent, personal, and visible (Matthew 24:30).  This is the believer's blessed hope and is a vital truth which is an incentive for holy living and faithful service.

-HELL AND ETERNAL RETRIBUTION.  The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the lake of fire that was originally prepared for the Devil and his angels.  This judgment after death is final.  The lake of fire is literal.  The terms "eternal" and "everlasting" used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the lake of fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in noting the duration of joy and ecstasy of believers in the presence of God (Hebrews 9:27- Revelation 19:20; Hebrews 6:1-2).
