Our Vision    "To Win Souls and Make Disciples"

When God called Abraham, He "brought him outside and said, "Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them." And He said to him, "So shall your descendants be."  Genesis 15:5

At Metro Harvest, we want to take the self-imposed limits off of ourselves, cut across the grain of current Christian small thinking, and begin to dream the dreams of God. We want to see the earth the way the Father sees it, a vast harvest field, just waiting to be brought into the Master's House.

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Winning souls and discipling them is the last command of Jesus and our first priority.  The very heart and will of God is seen in  2 Peter 3:9  "The Lord is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."

Backed by the Lord's promise to be with us, we're developing a culture of leadership in our church that encourages the idea that every believer can bring others to Christ, and have part in those people becoming mature and fruitful Christians. When a believer in one of our home or marketplace groups is equipped and ready to lead others, opportunity is given under a mentoring process called the Principle of 12. To us, this is normal Christianity.
