Our Pastor

Pastor Mike Frie sensed a call to ministry at a very early age. He received Christ as his Lord and Savior while watching the 700 Club in the summer of 1975, and immediately began to be discipled by Pastor Howard and Arlene Wright. At age 23, he moved to Israel to continue his studies and lived among the Jewish people in northern Galilee. In 1985, he returned to his hometown in Cedarburg Wisconsin working as a finish carpenter, and married his wife Michelle in August of 1987. Both of them served for several years at Alliance Bible Church in Mequon, Wisconsin under Pastor Bill Ronzheimer.

In 1990, the NRP (Network of Related Pastors) sent a pastor to the Metro Milwaukee area from Louisiana to plant a new church. The Fries sensed the Lord leading them to come along side several families and assist in the effort, and were released to do so. A clear call to the pastorate came in November 1993, while attending an International Cell Church Conference at Bethany World Prayer Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Pastor Mike was ordained in June of 1994, and the mantle of leadership of the church plant was passed on to him.

The church continued to meet at North Junior High in Menomonee Falls until spring of 2003, when they purchased and moved into the newly renovated facility on County Line Road in the Falls.

From 1994 to the present, Pastor Mike and Michelle have been emphasizing leadership development and community among the church which follows the biblical pattern of meeting corporately as well as in homes and in the marketplace (Acts 5:42; Acts 20:20). They pastor a  growing, multi-cultural congregation with the generations of leadership teams they've raised up, and have a vision to see the spiritual climate of the entire Metro Milwaukee area change through life-giving churches and relationships. Pastor Mike also serves on the Network of Related Pastors Executive Team www.nrpastors.com as a national elder with seven other men, and is relationally connected to pastors both locally and regionally.

Pastor Mike enjoys reading, woodworking, and is a licensed pilot. He and his wife Michelle have three children, Elisha, Aaron, and Olivia, and live in Richfield.
