Worship - What to Expect...

     
 

Metro Harvest's worship is a very powerful and personal experience with God. Our services begin with upbeat, contemporary praise and worship music. We encourage everyone to participate. Don't worry...we didn't know the songs at first either.

You'll notice that we devote a lot of time to worship. Worship isn't just a filler before the sermon...it's the reason we come together! It's a powerful and personal way to connect our hearts with God. You'll notice a lot of variety in how people participate in the worship time. Some sit, others stand, some raise their hands, and some dance, and some even jump! How you respond to God in worship is up to you; all we ask is that you go after God with all your heart, giving Him your very best.

Our Worship Purpose Statement:
The purpose of Metro Harvest Worship Team is to glorify and bless God with our voices, our instruments, and most importantly our everyday lives. In the Bible we are encouraged to sing a new song, clap our hands, dance before God, and praise Him on all different kinds of instruments.

We desire to do this every time we gather for worship. When your heart gets consumed by the love of God, you cannot help but respond and express your love back to Him. In the Bible, it tells us that God is looking for people who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth...we want to be those people. We believe that worship is not something that just takes place on Sunday, but that it should happen everyday. We make our very life an offering of worship, allowing His presence to invade our lives. We do pray that the songs sung every Sunday would penetrate the hearts of the people in our church, and that they would bring encouragement, hope, joy, as well as build their faith.

We also pray that their worship would inspire them to a deeper walk with God and put a boldness in their heart to take the message of God's wonderful love to everyone they meet.
