Fun
We bring kid-inspired fun to every service and classroom through energetic worship music, interactive games, and friendly environments. Our team is made up of dedicated people who help bring excitement and enjoyment to your child’s church experience.

Safe
Your child’s safety is incredibly important to us! This means our staff and volunteers have completed a thorough background check. Our entire team is trained and immersed in a culture of safety and cleanliness with the well-being of your child in mind. All volunteers are members in good standing at Metro Harvest Church.

Learning
As a church, we are always investing in the next generation, and this starts with babies and kids. From praying over infants to sharing relevant Bible lessons with elementary kids, our goal is for each child to learn about the Bible and experience God’s presence weekly.

Nursery
Ages 6 weeks – 23 months
Our Nursery rooms are nurturing, safe, and thoughtfully prepared for your little ones. Each space is staffed with trained Dream Teamers who provide gentle care and age-appropriate toys that are cleaned and sanitized every week.
As we hold and care for your baby, we pray over them — that they will know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference as they grow. Every moment matters, and we count it an honor to partner with you in laying their very first foundation of faith.

Preschool
Ages 2 – Kindergarten
Our Preschool rooms help young children discover who God is in a fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate way. Kids learn the Bible through hands-on activities such as stories, crafts, simple memory verses, and worship songs that reinforce Biblical truth.
They also begin forming meaningful friendships and practicing social skills in small groups led by caring teachers. Our goal is to help every child experience God’s love, grow in confidence, and enjoy being part of church!

FAQ
Is Metro Kids safe?
Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. Every Dream Teamer is background-checked, trained, and committed to our Kids Creed, which emphasizes purity, protection, accountability, and Spirit-led service. We also maintain strict bathroom, check-in, and check-out policies to ensure every child is secure.
How does check-in work?
When you arrive, visit our Metro Kids Check-In station. You’ll receive a child sticker and a matching parent security tag. Keep your security tag—it's required for pickup. Our Dream Team will guide you to the right room.
How does check-out work?
Children may only be released to adults with a matching parent security tag. If a tag is lost, photo ID is required and must match Planning Center records. This ensures your child is always released to the right person.
What if my child needs me during service?
If your child needs you for any reason—illness, inconsolable crying, or other concerns—we will text you using the phone number attached to their check-in profile.
How do you handle behavior or discipline issues?
We use redirection and positive affirmation. We never use physical discipline. If needed, kids are separated from the situation while we contact a parent only when appropriate. Our team always prioritizes kindness, clarity, and care.
What is your wellness policy?
To keep everyone healthy, children must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours before attending. Please keep children home if they have fever, vomiting, rash, excessive coughing, diarrhea, or any contagious condition. The full wellness list is in our handbook and used by all team members.
What about allergies?
For safety, no nuts, peanut butter, or nut-processed foods are allowed in the Metro Kids area. Snacks vary by age group and are posted in the room. If your child has allergies, be sure to indicate them at check-in.
Are parents allowed in the classrooms?
For safety, only background-checked Dream Teamers may enter classrooms. Exceptions are made only for emergencies or at the direction of a Team Lead.
What is your bathroom policy?
Adults are never alone with a child in the restroom. Nursery and preschool children are escorted by two Dream Teamers. Elementary children use designated restroom areas with monitored hallway access.
How can I get involved or serve with Metro Kids?
We’d love to have you join the team! We ask that everyone desiring to serve in this ministry become a member of Metro Harvest, submit to a background check, and commit to trainings. For more information on Membership, visit https://metroharvest.com/starting-point
